On Wednesday, the Rockets joined the Warriors at the top of one category in the postseason record books. With 17 3-pointers against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Rockets tied Golden State’s record for most makes from beyond the arc in a game seven.

Houston’s 17 long-distance jumpers helped push James Harden and Russell Westbrook past Chris Paul’s feisty Thunder squad in game seven, 104-102. Robert Covington led the Rockets from deep, splashing 6-of-11 3-point attempts. Eric Gordon added five triples of his own.

The Golden State backcourt duo combined for 13 3-pointers against Oklahoma City. The Warriors finished their game seven victory shooting 17-of-37 from beyond the arc.
